Category: Winery. This beautiful property has a new-ish, spacious, light and airy, high-trussed-ceiling tasting room and gift shop. But on the perfect day we visited we enjoyed a delightful outdoor lunch of cheeses, charcuterie, an incredible bread spread from a nearby Boulangerie (Haut les Pains! — see my separate review), and of course a sampling of the winery’s delicious best: a white, a rose, and a red Luberon cuvé. My favorite was the Syrah. Of course the grounds were beautiful (what winery isn’t?), with vines of Syrah, Mouvedre, and Grenache stretching as far the eye can see. Highlights are the ancient moulin, which still turns to grind flour, the castle 🏰 on the grounds (private 😟), and the castle’s hedges, gardens, and pools (open for strolling).
